Reflection

My first experience was a good one because the game was fun to play and easy to set up. I got the hang of the game maker really quick it was a very easy to make my game it didnt take that long to do. I think this is something I would like to do again.
Im not sure if I had any difficulties because it was very easy to pull togeather to set up. Their was no difficulties for me to overcome so to me i think i could make a better game.
The one thing I could have done differently is probably make my game a bit harder. I want to make more things to add to the game to make it look better or play better. If I make another game i want it to look more 3D or just better then just a catching the object game. I want more to do then just click.

Assignment 2

The name of my game is Keep It Strong.

There can be 1 player v.s. CPU. or 2 player v.s. CPU.

The relationship between players is that when ther is more then one player they have to work togeather to build up their army and keep their defence strong so the CPU. wont hurt them enough to loose all of your forces.

The objective is to build up your army so that the CPU. can not take control of your countries or attack you with enough force to take you out of the game. You must pick your countries and the stronger your armies are the faster they move to the end of the war. You must choose your side of the war you want to be on. You must pick eather the Central Powers or the Allied Powers.

Every turn you get you get the option to build your defence if you are far enough through a country you can recrute another country so you can move faster. The faster you move the sooner you win the war. If you get attacked too many times and get pushed out of your own country you began with you lose.

In this game you use Dice and cards every country has 5 blocks you must pass through to recuite them. Every time you roll the die you move that amouut of spaces then you pull a card to to see what the CPU does to you. The computer can eather attack your defence for a few points, take a country,or try to attack and miss.

The Game takes place in took place in Europe, Africa, Middle East, China [briefly], and the Pacific Islands [briefly]. World War I began on July 28, 1914, when Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia. This seemingly small conflict between two countries spread rapidly: soon, Germany, Russia, Great Britain, and France were all drawn into the war, largely because they were involved in treaties that obligated them to defend certain other nations. Western and eastern fronts quickly opened along the borders of Germany and Austria-Hungary.

Assignment 1

The whole understanding games series wasn’t that all that great. The one thing I did like about it was the tag game. The one thing I didn’t like was the ping pong thing I didn’t like that it was too boring. The most difficult thing on there was the puzzle thing. They tried to change it up by making you do the opposite of what they did and a lot of people didn’t notice. I got the hang of it though I became very simple after a while. But the one thing I did notice was that they showed how people took an old game and just remade it over and over to make it more realistic. When they had us playing pong they showed a newer ping pong game for the Xbox 360. They just show you all the changes that games have been thru and I liked that. That’s what I think about the understanding games series.
